Video documentation of the outside of the clinic took place daily. We Engage and the Pink House Defenders recorded video and went live on Facebook to show people what was happening outside a medical clinic and how patients were treated by the religious anti-abortion “sidewalk counselors.”
Shouting at patients, shaming patients, not respecting the patient’s wishes to be left alone aka “sidewalk counseling” at an abortion clinic is harassment of medical patients.
Videos of what was happening outside Jackson Women’s Health Organization, at other clinics, and other protests from We Engage and Pink House Defenders are collected here for educational purposes and historical documentation.

2019 - Charlotte, NC
On November 15, 2019, We Engage visited Family Reproductive Clinic in Charlotte, NC to meet fellow patient escorts and clinic defenders of the Reproductive Rights Coalition who also interact with anti-abortion “protesters,” like Flip Benham, former leader of Operation Save America Operation Rescue, at their clinic.
Love Life Charlotte held a large mass protest outside A Preferred Women’s Health Center in Charlotte, NC. Church bus after church bus brought hundreds of people. Clinic defenders from across the country were there to assist Charlotte for Choice in shielding patients as best as possible given the soundstage set up next door. Video quality varies.
